Scientific work in Antarctica and its operational support depends on a reliable, consistent geographic framework. The SCAR Antarctic Digital Database (ADD) aims to provide a seamless topographic map compiled from the best available international geographic information for all areas. It covers Antarctica south of 60°S. Data from ADD can be accessed through their map viewer.

The Ross Sea Region GIS website is dedicated to providing interactive maps of Ross Sea region data for scientists, Antarctic managers and Antarctic enthusiasts. A wealth of data are available through the interactive map viewer.
Quantarctica
Quantarctica is a collection of Antarctic geographical datasets which works with the free, open-source software QGIS. It currently includes geography, glaciology and geophysics data, and will expand with contributions from the research community
SCAR Composite Gazetteer
The SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica (CGA) has been compiled over a period of 25 years (commenced 1992) and consists of 37,557 names that correspond to 19,537 features. The place names information has been submitted by the national names committees from 22 countries and compiled by Roberto Cervellati and Chiara Ramorino from the Italian Antarctic Names Committee (Comitato per i nomi geografici antartici). The SCAR CGA is now a relational database - related to the SCAR Map catalogue, SCAR Feature Catalogue and the SCAR Flora and Fauna databases (all developed by the Australian Antarctic Data Centre [AADC]). This allows the search for Antarctic names, maps and flora and fauna information to be addressed via the gazetteer or map catalogue with results showing links to national names committees, map publishers, map retailers and small scale maps showing the distribution of flora and fauna.

Real and non-real time weather readings on different Antarctica stations. This is a cooperative effort between Antarctica New Zealand and NRCS, the US National Water and Climate Center.
US National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC)
NSIDC supports research into our world's frozen realms: the snow, ice, glacier, frozen ground, and climate interactions that make up Earth's cryosphere. Scientific data, whether taken in the field or relayed from satellites orbiting Earth, form the foundation for the scientific research that informs the world about our planet and our climate systems. ​The NSIDC provides cryospheric data and information gathered from such sources as remote sensing instruments, ground measurements, and models.
